The Salewa Ortles Straight/Bent 110 quickdraw combines a straight gate carabiner with a bent gate one, connected by a 110 mm high-strength nylon sling. The combination of the two gate profiles meets distinct needs: the straight carabiner, intended for the anchor or protection, integrates a thumb grip zone that ensures a secure hold and reduces the risk of snagging during maneuvers on rock or equipped walls. The bent gate carabiner is optimized for quick rope insertion, thanks to its nose geometry that facilitates clipping even under stress.

Construction and technology

Both carabiners feature a keylock closure system, which eliminates the traditional hooked nose and prevents unintentional snagging on bolts, slings, and intermediate points.
