How to measure your foot

Choose your size based on length in centimeters.

Foot length: Place your foot on a sheet of paper, with your heel against a wall. Mark the most advanced point of your toes and measure the distance from the heel to the mark.

Repeat the measurement on both feet and use the longer measurement as a reference.

For technical or outdoor shoes, it may be useful to consider a small additional margin, especially if you use thicker socks.

The length in centimeters is the most accurate reference. UK, EU, US Men's and US Women's conversions may vary slightly depending on the model.

DESCRIPTION

The SALEWA Alp Trainer 2 was born from direct observation of the Dolomite-Alpine trails: mixed routes, uneven terrain, and sustained elevation changes that require a hiking shoe capable of combining protection and lightness without compromise. The low-cut design ensures freedom of movement for the ankle, making it suitable for both long day hikes and more technical trails at low and medium altitudes.

Construction and materials

The upper is made of high-quality suede leather, tough enough to withstand abrasion on rock and stony paths, yet soft enough to adapt to the foot's shape from the first uses, reducing the break-in period typical of full leather shoes. The internal structure is designed to hold the foot precisely, limiting the micro-movements responsible for blisters and fatigue during long approaches.
