DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Dual Connect Adjust is an adjustable double lanyard designed specifically for long and multi-pitch climbing routes, where belay management and abseiling maneuvers need to be fast, secure, and reliable. Unlike traditional fixed-length lanyards, this system integrates one adjustable and one fixed strand, allowing the length to be precisely adapted to the configuration of each belay station.
Technology and construction
The central mechanism is the ergonomic ADJUST rope clamp, which allows the adjustable strand to be shortened or lengthened with one hand, even while wearing gloves. The lanyard is made of high-tenacity polyester webbing, certified according to EN 354 / EN 795B as an anchoring device. The breaking strength of both strands and the junction point is dimensioned to meet the safety requirements of technical mountaineering.
