DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Attache Screw-Lock is a pear-shaped manual screw-lock carabiner specifically designed for belaying applications in climbing. Its asymmetrical geometry allows for stable belay device positioning and naturally guides the rope to the optimal working point.
Construction and technology
The body is made of high-strength aluminum with an H-shaped cross-section that reduces overall weight while maintaining high structural rigidity. In the contact area between the rope and the carabiner, there is a circular profile section, specially designed to reduce friction during maneuvers and ensure smooth gliding when used with Petzl Verso and Reverso belay devices. The SCREW-LOCK manual screw-gate system offers simple and secure locking, suitable for contexts where prolonged use in a fixed position is expected, such as belaying or attaching to a harness.
