The ORTOVOX Ascent 30 S is a technical ski touring and high-mountain backpack designed specifically for those with a short back length: the "S" in the name stands for SHORT, indicating a carrying system with a shorter back compared to the standard version, ensuring precise anatomical fit and an optimal center of gravity even during dynamic movements on snow.
Carrying system and safety
The back panel is built around a flexible aluminum frame that distributes the load following the natural curve of the spine. The ergonomic shoulder straps and padded hip belt work together to keep the backpack stable during ascents on skins and off-piste descents.
