The Mountain Equipment Ibex Pro Pant is a technical softshell pant designed for those tackling demanding alpine terrain, from challenging hikes to classic mountaineering, in any season. The softshell fabric construction simultaneously guarantees wind resistance, four-way stretch, and active breathability, making it suitable for both long high-altitude excursions and mixed climbs in variable weather conditions.
Construction and Materials
The softshell fabric used offers effective wind protection without sacrificing freedom of movement, thanks to its high elastane content that follows every step on steep terrain or when splitting on rock. Adjustable ankle cuffs allow for a precise fit over both approach shoes and hard-shell mountaineering boots, preventing snow or debris from entering.
