DESCRIPTION
The Millet Light Down is a summer down sleeping bag, designed for those who want to sleep light without sacrificing warmth on high-altitude nights or in bivouacs. With a weight of only 420 g and a compressed volume of 1.5 liters, it easily fits into an already loaded trekking backpack, taking up less space than a water bottle.
Insulation and construction
The filling of water-repellent treated goose down guarantees effective thermal insulation even in moderately humid conditions, maintaining comfort down to a limit temperature of +10°C. The sewn-through baffle construction limits cold spots and evenly distributes the insulating material. The half-length side zip (½ zip) is designed to reduce heat dispersion in the most exposed openings, while also offering easy entry and exit from the bag.
Compactness and outdoor use
Supplied with a dedicated compression sack, the Light Down is ideal for summer treks, alpine hut-to-hut tours, and lightweight bivouac trips where the total weight of the backpack makes a difference. The design philosophy prioritizes the weight-to-warmth ratio, making it suitable for those undertaking long approaches or planning nights with mild but not tropical temperatures. For colder conditions or shoulder seasons, it is advisable to combine it with a thermal liner.
