The LEKI Ultratrail FX Junior is a trail running pole designed for young athletes who are new to technical terrain. Lightweight, responsive, and custom-designed for children's hands, it supports every step uphill and downhill without weighing down the backpack or slowing down the pace.
Technical construction and materials
The shaft is made of carbon fiber, a choice that ensures an excellent balance between rigidity and low weight — a fundamental quality for runners who don't want to carry unnecessary grams. The grip is made of natural cork, a material that absorbs sweat, doesn't slip, and gradually adapts to the shape of the hand, making it comfortable even on longer outings.
Trigger Shark 2.0 strap system
The real strong point of the Ultratrail FX Junior is the Trigger Shark 2.0 system: the strap attaches and detaches from the pole with a quick and intuitive motion, without stopping and without taking off gloves. This allows young runners to free their hands in seconds when tackling a section that requires more balance or when they need to drink from their water bottle. The strap is adjustable in length and distributes pressure evenly on the wrist, reducing muscle fatigue on prolonged climbs.
