DESCRIPTION
The LEKI Makalu FX TA Compact is a telescopic trekking pole made of aluminum alloy, designed for those seeking reliability on variable terrain without sacrificing portability. The Speed Lock 2 adjustment system allows for length locking and unlocking in seconds, even with gloves on, ensuring quick adaptation to changes in incline.
Grip and comfort
The pole features the Aergon Air grip, developed with hollow-core technology that reduces overall weight while maintaining ample ergonomic support surfaces. The back of the grip is entirely rubber-coated, a solution that improves grip during prolonged sessions and in damp conditions. The extension of the shaft below the grip is also rubberized, allowing for a lower grip during steep descents without losing stability.
