DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Nepal Cube GTX is a technical mountaineering boot designed for high-altitude routes in cold temperatures, where the weight on your feet makes the difference between reaching the summit and having to turn back. Weighing just 950 grams per half pair, it sets a new standard in the warm mountain boot segment.

Technical Construction and Insulation

The lightweight result is due to a redesign of the sole/midsole package, at the heart of which is an alveolar Carbon Tech insulating insole: a honeycomb carbon fiber structure that combines structural rigidity and thermal properties without adding unnecessary weight. The upper is protected by a Gore-Tex membrane, which ensures certified waterproofing and breathability even during the most demanding climbs in snowy and humid conditions.

Compatibility and Use

  • Compatible with automatic crampons thanks to dedicated front and rear notches
  • Vibram rubber sole optimized for mixed rock and ice terrain
  • Removable inner boot for quick drying in bivouacs or huts
  • Suitable for expeditions on glaciers, mixed routes, and winter alpine trekking
