The women's La Sportiva Aequilibrium Trek GTX is born from the intersection of the Trentino brand's mountaineering experience and the concrete needs of demanding trekking. The boot is designed for those who undertake long itineraries with heavy backpacks, where protection cannot compromise freedom of movement or muscle fatigue at the end of the day.

Construction and Technologies

The upper integrates a Gore-Tex Extended Comfort membrane, which guarantees certified waterproofing and breathability on trails in all weather conditions. The structure is reinforced with high-abrasion-resistant synthetic materials in areas of greater wear, while keeping the weight contained compared to a traditional mountaineering boot. The Vibram Evo Flex sole is designed to follow the natural roll of the foot — from heel to toe — reducing muscle fatigue over long distances. The Impact Brake System cushioning system manages downhill loads, protecting knees and joints even under the weight of a technical backpack.

Fit and Comfort on Long Treks

  • Specific last shape for the female foot, with an anatomical heel and precise fit
  • Padded collar with ankle support that balances stability and lateral mobility
  • EVA midsole with asymmetrical geometry to adapt to the morphology of the female stride
  • Reinforced toe cap and rand for protection on rocky and scree passages
