DESCRIPTION
The HOKA Zinal W is a trail running shoe designed for those tackling technical and challenging terrain without sacrificing lightness and responsiveness underfoot. Compared to the previous version, HOKA has revised the sole geometry, reducing the stack height by 2 mm. This choice lowers the center of gravity and improves ground contact feel, promoting a more precise and controlled run even on uneven sections.
Sole and grip
The tread has been redesigned with higher lugs and a more aggressive pattern, ensuring a solid grip on mud, wet grass, and rock. The combination of a contained stack geometry and a biting sole makes the Zinal W particularly suitable for races and training on fast single tracks, where immediate response is needed with every footstrike.
Upper and fit
The upper is constructed with a breathable engineered mesh, updated with a knit collar that softly wraps the ankle and reduces pressure points during prolonged descents. The result is a secure, comfortable fit well-adapted to the female foot morphology. The Zinal W is aimed at runners looking for a competition or intensive training shoe on technical trails, with a balance between protection, low weight, and superior energy return compared to the previous version.
