DESCRIPTION
The CT Concept SGL is an HMS screwgate carabiner designed for those who primarily use the Munter hitch for belaying. The enlarged pear shape creates a generous internal space that allows the rope to run smoothly and controllably during belaying and rappelling maneuvers, reducing unwanted friction without compromising its hold.
Construction and Technical Data
The body is made of hot-forged aluminum alloy, a process that ensures homogeneous material distribution and superior structural strength compared to casting. The SGL screwgate offers a simple and reliable closure, suitable for both daily crag use and mountaineering situations where speed of handling makes a difference.
