DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond Gridlock Screwgate is a belay carabiner equipped with a patented isolation system that solves one of the most frequent problems when using belay devices: the carabiner shifting on the anchor point. Thanks to the GridLock function, the belay loop of the harness is captured and held in a fixed position, preventing unwanted rotations and cross-loading that could compromise the proper function of the belay device.
