DESCRIPTION
The Black Diamond Camalot C4 in size 0.75 is one of the most recognizable active protections in rock climbing: a double-axle, four-cam friend, redesigned in the current version to be 10% lighter than the previous generation, without any compromise on structural strength.
Construction and cam geometry
The lightweight alloy cams are sculpted and lightened with optimized geometry that ensures uniform contact on the rock even in irregular cracks. The independent double axle allows the cams to adapt to parallel and slightly flared cracks, expanding the range of use compared to single-axle designs. The unified aluminum trigger allows for precise actuation even with gloves.
