DESCRIPTION
The Wild Country Mosquito is a high-performance harness designed specifically for women's sport climbing. The Wild Country fit has been tailored to the female anatomy to ensure a precise fit, lightness, agility, and maximum freedom of movement.
The laminated waist belt is the core of the design: wider in the central back for greater support, contoured to fit the female pelvis and reduce pressure points. Its shape and size have been perfected through numerous field tests conducted directly with female climbers.
Compared to a unisex harness, the women's Mosquito features:
- Increased leg loop diameter for a more enveloping fit
- Reduced waist belt diameter to adapt to the female silhouette
- Greater distance between waist belt and leg loops, which improves overall comfort during prolonged belays, wall belaying, or intensive project sessions
The Mosquito's essential and unobtrusive structure adapts to the body during climbing, allowing for maximum flexibility of movement without compromise.
The harness is equipped with four lightweight gear loops:
- Two rigid front ones
- Two softer rear ones
All gear loops are designed to keep equipment and quickdraws slightly spaced from the harness.
