DESCRIPTION
Verona Rock Falesie is the climbing guide dedicated to the crags in the province of Verona, published by Versante Sud and authored by a collective of seven writers—Giovanni Avesani, Massimo Bursi, Fabio De Marchi, Claudio Migliorini, Diego Perotti, Giuseppe Vidali, and Nicola Zorzi—with direct contributions from numerous local route setters. The project is a natural evolution and completion of the historical guide Monte Baldo Rock, finalizing work that the previous authors had only begun.
A climbing area finally documented
The province of Verona offers an extraordinarily varied collection of crags, from the limestone walls of Monte Baldo to the crags of Valpolicella and the Veronese hinterland. This guide systematically inventories the sectors of the area, providing for each crag approach information, rock descriptions, and route lengths and difficulties, with a level of detail that reflects the authors' direct knowledge of the territory.
Who it's for
It is a practical tool for anyone who wants to explore the Veronese crags with a reliable and up-to-date source, whether it's a well-known area or less frequented sectors. Collaboration with local route setters ensures that the reported data—number of bolts, heights, rock type—reflects the actual state of the routes. An essential reference for climbers in this corner of Northeast Italy.
