DESCRIPTION
The Totem Cam 0.65 is a four-cam friend designed for protection in small cracks, with an expansion range covering cracks from 13.8 mm to 23.6 mm. It is a tool designed for traditional climbing on routes that require reliable protection in granite, sandstone, or any type of rock with thin cracks.
Patented anchoring system
At the heart of the Totem Cam is the patented Direct Loading Camming Device system, which transfers the load directly to the cam axle rather than through the stem. This mechanism significantly reduces parasitic forces on the trigger and improves the stability of the anchor even in slightly recessed positions or horizontal cracks. The four independent cams ensure an even distribution of the load on the crack walls, increasing grip even on friable or irregular rock.
