DESCRIPTION
The Summit Pumori is The North Face's flagship down parka for high-altitude mountaineering, designed for those facing extreme conditions where the margin for thermal error is zero. The jacket uses 800 Fill Power ProDown™ insulation, a down treated with a hydrophobic finish that ensures significantly faster drying compared to conventional untreated down, maintaining its insulating properties even in the presence of moisture.
Construction and Insulation
The Cloud Down construction technology eliminates traditional sewn-through seams, reducing cold spots along panel junctions and distributing body heat more evenly. The result is continuous insulation without discontinuities, essential when the temperature drops below freezing at altitude.

Who uses it and when
