DESCRIPTION
The Stormgap Power Grid™ is a technical women's midlayer designed for those who don't want to sacrifice warmth and lightness on the move. The core of the garment is the Polartec® Power Grid™ fabric, a geometric grid fleece which, thanks to its three-dimensional structure, creates micro-air channels capable of balancing thermal insulation and breathability much more efficiently than a traditional flat-surfaced fleece.
Construction and Thermal Performance
The grid geometry is not just aesthetic: each cell of the pattern optimizes the relationship between fabric mass and insulating capacity, making the jacket lightweight, compressible and easily foldable into a backpack when the temperature rises. This makes it particularly suitable as a second layer during trekking, hiking or ascents, where thermal variations are frequent and sweat management is critical.
