DESCRIPTION
The North Face Alpedge jacket is a technical mid-layer designed for those who tackle the alpine environment with real performance needs. The core of the design is the Polartec® High Loft™ fabric, a new-generation fleece constructed with hydrophobic yarns that actively repel moisture and ensure rapid drying even after intense exertion or in variable weather conditions.
Construction and Thermoregulation
The extended polyester yarns of the High Loft™ structure create a particularly large air gap, trapping body heat with superior thermal efficiency compared to a traditional fleece of comparable weight. The result is warm and lightweight insulation that doesn't weigh down the layering system and compresses easily under an outer layer.
Fit and Construction Details
