DESCRIPTION
The Salomon XA Pro V8 Kid is the junior version of the historic XA Pro 3D trail running shoe, adapted for children's feet with specific construction, protection, and grip for intense outdoor use. This is not simply a reduced adult size: the fit and lacing system are designed to adapt to the morphology of growing feet.
Technical Construction
The upper combines durable synthetic materials with mesh inserts to ensure breathability without compromising on protection. The Quicklace lacing system allows the shoe to be tightened with a single pull and the lace to be stowed in the dedicated pocket, eliminating the risk of loose laces on the trails. The reinforced toe cap and stone guard protect the toes during descents on rough terrain.
Sole and Stability
The Contragrip MA rubber outsole ensures reliable traction on both mud and wet rock, while the EnergyCell midsole compound offers sufficient cushioning to protect joints on longer outings. The integrated Chassis system in the midsole stabilizes the foot during lateral twists, reducing the risk of sprains on technical trails.
