The Salomon X Ultra Mid Gore-Tex Kid brings the same technical philosophy as the adult X Ultra series, one of the most popular lines of trekking footwear in the industry, to children's feet. This is a high-cut hiking shoe designed to tackle mixed and varied trails, where stability and waterproofing are concrete priorities, not options.
Technical construction and waterproofing
The upper integrates a Gore-Tex membrane, which guarantees certified waterproofing and active breathability at the same time: feet remain dry in case of rain, stream crossings or wet grass, without overheating during climbs. The mid-cut wraps and protects the ankle, reducing the risk of sprains on uneven terrain, a particularly relevant feature for younger children who are still developing proprioception.
