DESCRIPTION
The Salomon Genesis is a trail running shoe designed for those who tackle varied technical trails, from compact singletrack to mixed terrain with rocks and roots. Its architecture balances protection and responsiveness, making it suitable for both long runs and mid-distance races.
Construction and materials
The upper is made of Matryx®, a technical fabric that combines Dyneema® and polyester fibers in a three-dimensional structure: the result is a lightweight, abrasion-resistant, and highly breathable shoe, without the compromises of traditional mesh. The snug fit reduces micro-movements of the foot even on the steepest descents.
Midsole and grip
- The EnergyCell+ midsole ensures high energy return and consistent cushioning over the long term
- The Contagrip® MA outsole is designed for mixed conditions: the multi-density compound offers traction in muddy sections and stability on hard surfaces
