DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Tognazza Polarlite Jacket is a hooded fleece jacket designed for high-altitude trekking and hiking in challenging weather conditions. Its name is inspired by Mount Tognazza, near the Pale di San Martino, and reflects the alpine environment for which this garment was developed.
Construction and materials
The main fabric is Polarlite fleece, a high-density polyester fiber that provides effective thermal insulation even in extremely cold conditions, while maintaining good breathability. This balance between warmth and sweat management is crucial during high-altitude climbs, when intense physical activity produces moisture that Polarlite fleece can dissipate without trapping it against the skin.
