DESCRIPTION
The Salewa Pura 2.0 is a hybrid climbing helmet, developed in collaboration with Dolomite mountaineers and designed to guarantee reliable protection in demanding technical conditions, from crags to alpine multi-pitches.
Construction and Protection
The structure combines a shock-resistant ABS outer shell with an EPS foam-lined interior: this combination ensures good dissipation of both lateral and frontal impact loads, offering wider cranial coverage than many lightweight in-mold helmets. The robust and enveloping profile effectively protects even in situations of falling debris from above, which is common on long routes and in alpine environments.
Fit and Adjustment
The rear adjustment system has been designed to work even with one hand, a practical and useful function when you are tied to the wall and need to adjust the fit on the fly. The internal padding is removable and washable, which significantly extends the helmet's hygiene and lifespan. The shell's shape ensures compatibility with most headlamp systems.
