The Salewa Pedroc Wind Light is an ultralight windbreaker jacket designed for fast mountaineering, high-altitude trail running, and approach days where pack weight is as important as on-field performance. Thanks to its lightweight ripstop fabric construction, it maintains a compact profile without sacrificing mechanical resistance to the abrasions typical of mountain terrain.
Technical Construction and Weather Protection
The main fabric integrates a PFC-free DWR finish, which effectively repels light rain and droplets without compromising overall breathability. To manage body heat during demanding climbs, the back panel features a breathable mesh insert that promotes water vapor dispersion during maximum exertion. The result is a balance between protection and ventilation suitable for the sustained pace of modern mountaineering.
