DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA NXT Durastretch Pant was developed directly with the SALEWA team athletes, with tests conducted in the Dolomites under high-intensity mountaineering conditions. The result is a technical pant with a minimalist design, created for those who want no compromises between freedom of movement and abrasion resistance.
Fabric and protection
The construction is based on the proprietary Durastretch fabric, which combines high multi-directional elasticity with superior mechanical resistance compared to traditional softshell fabrics. The PFAS-free DWR water-repellent treatment ensures effective protection from light rain and wet snow without resorting to persistent chemicals, in line with current, stricter environmental regulations.
Fit and construction
- Athletic cut that hugs the body, without excess fabric that could hinder movement on rock or ice
- Anatomical crotch construction, optimized to ensure maximum range of motion during technical movements such as spreading legs on a slab or high stepping in snow
