DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Mountain Trainer 2 MID Gore-Tex® is the updated version of one of the South Tyrolean brand's most popular alpine trekking boots. Compared to its predecessor, it gains in lightness and flexibility without sacrificing the robustness that made it a benchmark for hiking on challenging terrain.
Construction and protection
The upper is made of highly abrasion-resistant suede leather, reinforced by a 360° TPU protective rand that wraps around the shoe: a solution that effectively protects against lateral impacts on rock and debris, increasing the overall durability of the boot. The GORE-TEX® Performance membrane guarantees complete waterproofing and active breathability, keeping the foot dry both in prolonged rain and when wading through wet trails.
