DESCRIPTION
The Salewa Hiking Gaiter L is a calf-high gaiter designed to protect footwear and trousers during hikes on mixed terrain, trails with debris, light snow, or low vegetation. The size L version fits more generous calf circumferences, ensuring a secure fit without excessive compression.
Construction and materials
The main body is made of abrasion-resistant fabric, capable of withstanding repeated contact with rocks, branches, and gravel without rapidly deteriorating. The lower part, in direct contact with the ground and the edge of the footwear, uses a reinforced waterproof material that blocks the entry of water, mud, and small stones. The side closure allows the gaiter to be put on and removed even with the shoe laced, while the hook under the sole maintains stable positioning throughout the hike.
