DESCRIPTION
The SALEWA Agner Rope Bag XL is a large capacity rope bag designed for those who use standard or longer single ropes, or for those who prefer to have extra space during crag and mountain sessions. The XL size comfortably accommodates 60 to 80-meter ropes without forced compression, reducing tangles during retrieval.
Construction and access
The bag is made of abrasion-resistant fabric, suitable for contact with rocky surfaces and uneven terrain. It opens via a full-length zipper that allows the bag to open completely like a book: a feature that is far from obvious, which allows the rope to be neatly distributed and the correct end to be identified immediately without rummaging inside. The closure also guarantees protection from dust and humidity during transport.
Removable tarp and rope management
The internal tarp is removable and features two attachment points, which stabilize it inside the bag during use. This solution keeps the rope off the ground, reducing the accumulation of debris, sand, and dirt that degrade the rope sheath over time. The tarp can be removed and placed separately directly at the base of the route, allowing you to coil the rope without having to move the entire bag.
