The SALEWA Agner Durastretch are technical climbing and approach shorts designed for those who need full freedom of movement without sacrificing abrasion resistance. The core of the product is the 196 g/m² Durastretch fabric, a 4-way stretch softshell that accompanies every movement—whether it's raising a knee on a vertical slab or walking the approach trail with a heavy backpack.
Construction and materials
The most relevant feature of Durastretch is its exceptional durability in contact with rock: the fabric is formulated to resist the typical abrasion of climbing, where shorts continuously rub against granite, limestone, or sandstone. The elastic gusset in the crotch further extends the range of motion in the most demanding positions, reducing tension on the seams. Despite its robustness, the softshell fabric maintains a clean and non-bulky fit, also suitable under a harness.
