The Agner Durastretch by SALEWA is born from real test sessions on the Dolomites' walls—particularly on the north face of Cima Grande—where conditions change quickly and there's no room for compromise. It's a technical softshell jacket designed for rock climbing in spring, summer, and autumn, when protection and mobility are equally essential.
Construction and Fabric
The heart of the jacket is the proprietary Durastretch fabric, a highly durable elastic material that combines mechanical abrasion protection with superior freedom of movement compared to traditional softshells. The construction is optimized to avoid creating tension points in climbing positions: shoulders, elbows, and torso follow body movements without restriction. The DWR treatment ensures light water and wind resistance, maintaining comfort during approaches in variable conditions without the sauna effect of a waterproof membrane.
