DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Vertigo Wire-Lock is a screwgate carabiner developed specifically for use with the SCORPIO VERTIGO via ferrata lanyards, where it is mounted on the ends to ensure connection to the via ferrata anchor points.
Construction and locking system
The body is made of high-strength aluminum with a shape designed to offer a firm grip even with gloves. The automatic Wire-Lock closing system uses a wire gate that automatically locks after each opening, reducing the risk of forgetting to close the carabiner during maneuvers on the rock face. The large gate opening facilitates quick attachment to bolts even in awkward positions or with one hand.

- Keylock system: the tip of the gate is hook-free, eliminating involuntary snagging on bolts and ropes
- Automatic Wire-Lock closure for constant safety during maneuvers at anchor points
- Certifications: EN 12275 / EN 362, compliant with standards for via ferrata carabiners and industrial connectors
