DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Vasak Leverlock Universel are 12-point crampons designed for classic mountaineering and progression on glacial and mixed terrain. The geometry of the front points ensures good grip on both compact snow and moderate ice, making them suitable for routes ranging from glacier traverses to steep snow couloirs.
Binding system and compatibility
The Leverlock Universel system combines a lever closure at the front with an adjustable heel bail system, compatible with boots with both front and rear welts, as well as semi-rigid footwear without a front welt. This versatility makes them suitable for a wide range of mountaineering boots, eliminating the need for crampons dedicated to a single type of sole.
