DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Selena is a climbing harness designed for use in the gym, on sport climbs, and on multi-pitch routes of moderate difficulty. The contoured waistbelt ensures even load distribution and a precise fit, reducing pressure during rests and falls. The pre-adjusted elastic leg loops adapt to your body shape without requiring constant micro-adjustments, allowing you to put on the harness in seconds and move freely during the climb.
Technical Features
The harness's structure combines lightness and comfort thanks to the use of EVA foam padding on the waistbelt and leg loops, which softens contact with the body even during prolonged sessions. The reinforced front tie-in point is compatible with standard locking carabiners and belay devices. The four rigid gear loops with an elastic retainer allow for quick clipping and unclipping of quickdraws and equipment without removing them. The tapered waistbelt at the back reduces bulk in the lumbar area, improving comfort when seated and during twisting movements.
Use and Fit
The harness is particularly suitable for those new to sport climbing or who regularly frequent the gym, but it also performs well on routes requiring multiple belay stations. Its compatibility with layered clothing — thanks to the wide adjustment system — makes it usable in various seasonal conditions. Certified CE EN 12277 type C.
