DESCRIPTION
LUNA is Petzl's harness designed for sport climbing, multi-pitch routes, and trad climbing, engineered to provide lasting comfort both in motion and static suspension. The structure is thin and free of rigid edges, a design choice that eliminates uncomfortable pressure points during prolonged belays or demanding technical sequences.
Construction and fit
The leg loops are independently adjustable, allowing for precise adjustment on different body types and with any type of clothing, from summer tights to winter pants. The adjustment remains stable during use thanks to the Doubleback buckle system, which does not require re-threading the webbing to be safe. The low weight and flat profile of the material also make LUNA suitable for those who prefer to carry the harness in their backpack during approaches.
Gear organization
With five gear loops — two of which are rigid and foldable at the back — the harness allows for a balanced distribution of quickdraws, cams, and trad gear around the waist. The rigid gear loops remain open during racking and fold down to reduce bulk while climbing. The waist loop is CE EN 12277 certified and compatible with most common belay devices. A practical choice for those who alternate between sport climbing and multi-pitch adventures throughout the year.
