DESCRIPTION
The PETZL Irvis Flexlock are 10-point crampons designed for those moving on mixed terrain: from the compact snow of high-altitude hiking to the ice of classic mountaineering, up to challenging ski mountaineering trips. The geometry of the points guarantees good stability both when progressing on hard snow and when gripping on icy surfaces, without sacrificing the overall weight of the system.
Binding system and compatibility
The Flexlock version features a rigid toe bail and a heel lever system, compatible with boots with a rear welt but no front welt. This makes them suitable for a wide range of technical mountaineering and ski mountaineering footwear. The central connecting bar is length-adjustable to fit different boot sizes, while the polymer anti-snow plates prevent snow buildup underfoot, a critical factor on snowy and wet terrain.
