The Petzl Hirundos is a sport climbing harness designed for those seeking lightness without sacrificing comfort during intensive sessions at the gym or on the rock face. Weighing in at just 260 g, it is among the lightest models in the Petzl range, ideal for linking pitches on the rock face or tackling long training blocks without feeling weighed down.
Construction and materials
The shoulder straps and leg loops are made with Ultraframe foamed webbing, a structure that distributes body weight evenly and reduces pressure during belays. Adjustment is handled by four DoubleBack buckles, which allow for quick adaptation of the harness to different layers of clothing while maintaining a secure lock. The ventral loop is reinforced and certified for use as the main attachment point, while the two rigid gear loops facilitate quick attachment of quickdraws and accessories.
