DESCRIPTION
The Petzl Borea is a multi-purpose climbing helmet designed for sport climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, and caving. Its thick ABS shell construction offers high resistance to frontal and lateral impacts and good protection against scratches and abrasions, typical of rocky and underground environments.
Construction and fit
The wraparound shape of the outer shell ensures extensive head coverage, including the temporal areas often overlooked in lighter helmets. The Centerfit adjustment system allows the helmet to be centered on the head's axis before tightening the occipital wheel, ensuring a symmetrical and stable fit. The rear adjustment band is designed with a raised shape that comfortably accommodates hair tied in a ponytail, eliminating the typical discomfort of other models with a low band.
