The Millet Cosmic 28 is a 28-liter backpack designed for freeride and ski touring, capable of handling the most demanding off-piste sessions without sacrificing accessibility or comfort. The structure is made from 100% recycled nylon with a water-repellent treatment, a choice that ensures water resistance during fresh snow descents and reduces environmental impact without compromising durability.
Stability and Equipment Transport
The oversized hip belt effectively distributes the load to the hips, keeping the backpack close to the back even during the most dynamic movements. This translates into noticeable stability both on ascents with skins and descents on steep slopes. The 28-liter volume offers enough space for a full day off-piste, with spare clothing, water, and snacks, without being bulky or unbalancing.
Safety and Organization
One of the distinctive features of the Cosmic 28 is the dedicated safety equipment compartment, designed to house a shovel, probe, and avalanche transceiver separately and quickly accessible in case of emergency. The ski carrying system — both A-frame and H-frame — makes carrying comfortable during uphill traverses on foot.
