DESCRIPTION

The Ultra Raptor II Junior is the version dedicated to younger hikers from La Sportiva's well-known trail/hiking line. Built for those new to off-road trails, this shoe combines real protection and a precise fit without sacrificing the lightness needed for growing legs.

Construction and materials

The upper is made of breathable mesh with thermo-adhesive microfiber reinforcement, a technique that eliminates external seams, reducing weight and friction points. The perimeter anti-abrasion rand protects the areas most exposed to impacts against rocks and roots, significantly extending the shoe's lifespan. The insole is an Ortholite® Hybrid, composed of layers of different density materials to distribute foot weight evenly and absorb shocks during descents.

Grip and sole structure

  • FriXion® XT rubber sole with deep lugs for traction on wet terrain, mud, and loose gravel
  • Midsole that balances cushioning and responsiveness on mixed trails
  • Sole geometry developed from the adult footwear of the same line

It is the concrete choice for children who frequent mountain trails on weekends or participate in school trips in natural environments: technical enough to offer safety on uneven terrain, versatile enough to be worn daily.
