DESCRIPTION

La Sportiva's TC Pro is a mid-cut climbing shoe designed for long multi-pitch routes and crack climbing. It's a re-edition of an iconic model named after Tommy Caldwell, the climber who opened The Dawn Wall on El Capitan. Not by chance, the lines of Freerider (Alex Honnold) and The Dawn Wall (Tommy Caldwell) are hot-stamped on the upper as a direct reference to Yosemite's most legendary ascents.

Construction and Materials

The upper is made of eco-tanned leather, a choice that ensures durability, progressive adaptation to the foot, and a lower environmental impact compared to conventional leathers. The mid-cut design offers extra ankle coverage, essential for protecting the malleoli during long crack sections, where the foot is repeatedly inserted into the rock. The structure is designed to keep the foot in a neutral or slightly positive position, allowing for hours of climbing without the typical fatigue of aggressively downturned shoes.
