DESCRIPTION

The La Sportiva Solution is a climbing shoe designed specifically for bouldering and high-grade sport climbing routes, engineered around an aggressive fit system that maximizes precision on small footholds and dynamic movements. For years, it has been a benchmark in the industry for advanced climbers.

Construction and Technologies

The upper integrates the Lock Harness System, an internal strapping that wraps around the foot, creating a structural connection between the heel and forefoot. This mechanism reduces micro-movements inside the shoe, precisely transmitting every weight shift on the rock. Closure is entrusted to a double velcro, allowing for quick and personalized tension adjustment during sessions.

  • Vibram XS Grip2 compound for high adherence and maximum friction on any type of rock
  • P3 Permanent Power Platform: a system that maintains the aggressive curvature of the sole over time, preventing the shoe from "stretching out" with use
  • Suede leather upper for adaptability to the foot's shape and absence of excessive stretching
  • Pronounced downturned profile, designed for grip on vertical edges and pulling movements

When to use it

The Solution expresses its maximum potential on technical boulders, overhang movements, and overhanging walls where heel power and toe precision are essential. The heel hook lined with Vibram compound makes it particularly effective for heel hooks on pronounced overhangs. It is not an approach shoe or an all-purpose shoe: it is a specific tool for hard climbing.
