DESCRIPTION
The KONG Ovalone Auto Block RED is an oval aluminum alloy carabiner equipped with a triple-action automatic locking gate, designed for vertical applications that require absolute reliability in quick attachment. Its oval shape ensures an even distribution of load on both sides of the carabiner, making it particularly suitable for belay systems, use with pulleys, and connections to fixed anchors.
Locking and safety system
The 3-sequential-movement Auto Block gate requires three distinct actions to open the carabiner: lift the gate, turn it, and then pull the lever. This mechanism drastically reduces the risk of accidental opening even under stress or when wearing gloves. The Keylock system eliminates the traditional hooked nose, preventing unintentional snagging on ropes, slings, or anchor rings and simplifying disengagement under load. The gate features a large gate opening, which facilitates maneuvers even with one hand.
