DESCRIPTION
The KONG HMS Screw Polish is a pear-shaped (HMS) carabiner made of high-strength aluminum, designed for belaying with a Munter hitch (HMS). The wide base geometry is optimized to allow the knot to slide and reverse smoothly during lowering or dynamic belaying, reducing friction at critical moments.
Technical features
The Keylock system eliminates the hook at the top of the carabiner, preventing accidental snagging with anchors, rings, and other connectors during positioning and retrieval. The screw gate ensures reliable and controllable manual locking, preferred in situations where maximum awareness of the closed state is desired.
