DESCRIPTION
The KONG Ergo Anniversary Quickdraw RED is a sport climbing quickdraw produced in a special edition to celebrate KONG's 40th anniversary (1977-2017). It combines two Ergo carabiners, one of the most popular models in the KONG range, paired with a 13 mm Dyneema sling with a length of 12 cm.
Technical features
The two Ergo carabiners are characterized by their ergonomic shape, which facilitates gripping and rope insertion, even in tiring situations or when wearing gloves. The Keylock system eliminates the nose from the gate, reducing the risk of accidental snagging on anchors, bolts, and fixed gear – a detail that makes a difference on lead. The gate is equipped with the new Fast Rubber Ultra-Resist, a high-resistance rubber retainer that keeps the lower carabiner correctly oriented on the sling, making every clip faster and safer.
Use and performance
The quickdraw is designed for single-pitch climbing and sport routes, where clipping speed and material reliability are concrete priorities. The short 12 cm sling limits lateral movement and reduces rope drag on vertical sections. The Anniversary edition is visually distinguished by its red color, which makes it easier to spot on the wall. A complete, technical quickdraw built with KONG components of proven reliability.
