DESCRIPTION
The KONG Earmuffs are noise-reducing headphones with 3M Peltor® technology, designed for helmet mounting and used in high-noise work environments, such as construction sites, industry, and work at height. With a noise reduction rating of 32 dB, they are among the most high-performance hearing protection solutions in the series, suitable for contexts with very high and prolonged noise.
Technical specifications
The earmuffs comply with the UNI EN 352-3 standard, which regulates helmet-mounted hearing protection devices. They feature electrical insulation, a fundamental characteristic in environments where there is a risk of contact with live components. The fluorescent yellow color ensures high visibility in the field, improving operator recognition in situations of poor lighting or crowds.
Compatibility and mounting
The Earmuffs integrate directly onto KONG line helmets via a side attachment. For specific mounting on the Mouse helmet, the optional accessory Mouse Plates (#997051N00KK) is required, sold separately. The complete series is available in 7 versions with different levels of acoustic insulation, allowing you to choose the most appropriate level of protection for the noise level detected in the work environment.
