DESCRIPTION
The KONG Alex Gloves are technical gloves designed for those tackling via ferratas, adventure parks, and vertical rescue operations, where a secure grip on the cable and hand protection make all the difference. The palm and fingers are made from suede reinforced with DuPont™ Kevlar® fibers, a material that offers high abrasion and cut resistance without sacrificing tactile sensitivity, which is essential for maintaining control during the most technical sections.
Construction and Fit
The back is made of breathable stretch nylon, ensuring freedom of movement and reducing heat build-up during intense activity. The wrist closure system combines an integrated elastic and adjustable velcro, ensuring a stable fit that won't loosen during progression on the via ferrata. The solution with 3 fingers cut at 3/4 represents an effective compromise between protection and dexterity: the last phalanges remain free to handle carabiners, lanyards, and other devices with precision, without having to remove the glove.
