Technology and protection
At the heart of the helmet is the MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), a low-friction layer that moves independently of the shell in the event of an oblique impact, reducing rotational forces transmitted to the brain. The fit is ensured by Giro's Roc Loc 5 MIPS adjustment system, which allows for one-handed adjustment of both lateral tightness and vertical positioning of the helmet on the head, maintaining stability even during sudden movements.
